The young winners form Saturn were particularly interested in the assembly of the ÀË-31Ô engine developed by the Lyulka Center, which has for several decades been the main export of the Bashkiria engine-builders, as well as engines for the ÑÓ-35 fighter jet and for the fifth-generation planes, currently in progress at Saturn continuing the Lyulka school. Saturn representatives got to touch base directly with their colleagues on the UMPO factory floor who, like Saturn, are forging ahead with production of new types of military engines.
