In 2011 Perm Engine Company trained more than 1,100 specialists on the PS-90A engine

The Perm Engine Companys training center for customer support has announced its 2011 results. In the past year, the center has trained or re-trained more than 1,100 specialists, including training on servicing and running the PS-90A family of aviation engines (711 people) and industrial gas turbine units (415 people).

Altogether since it was opened in 2008, the center has trained 4,168 people with professional knowledge and skills, of which 3,790 are Perm Engine Company employees, 444 are specialists from organizations using Perm engines and 70 are representatives from foreign governments.

Perm Engine Company managing director Alexey Mikhalyov: We attach as much important to the professional servicing of our aviation engines and gas turbine units, as we do to the high quality standards maintained in our production facilities. For high-tech products  and of course Perm Engine Company engines are included in this category  only correct usage and service will allow exploitation to the full potential. Our customer support training center conducts comprehensive training for representatives from organizations using our products, and issues further qualifications to specialists from within our own company. This approach allows us to achieve greater efficiency with PMZ engines, and makes for better cooperation with our partners.
