Aviadvigatel takes part in Perm region education forum

In February 2012 the Perm Fair exhibition center hosted the 14th special exhibition on educational establishments, job placements, and achievements in industry education ‘Education and Careers 2012’. Aviadvigatel was the general sponsor for the education forum for the ninth time.

More than 100 educational establishments of various levels, recruitment agencies, employment agencies, and employers took part in the exhibition. At the grand opening, the Perm region minister for education Nikolay Karpushin noted that the main point of this exhibition is the chance to discussion topical subjects. Among these is innovation in education, the place for science and academia in the modern world, and the ascendancy of the ‘knowledge economy’. Significantly, the opening of the exhibition coincided with the Russian Day of Science.

Aviadvigatel is one of the most knowledge-driven companies in the Perm region. Using the latest information technology and design tools makes the design bureau an attractive choice for graduates. Aviadvigatel is keeping up with progress, giving its specialists the chance to be at the forefront of innovation and scientific breakthroughs.

By tradition, Aviadvigatel takes part in the exhibition together with its long-term partners Perm Engine Company, the Air and Space faculty of the Perm National Research Polytechnic University, and the Aviation Institute of the Shvetsov Professional Lyceum No. 1.

“We would like exhibition visitors to get a sense of the range of educational institutions and companies in Perm engine building. We are interested in the very best school graduates. They are the pride and the treasures of our region. In the future they will be the specialists in the engine building sector and bring fame to the Perm region and to Russia as a whole,” said Tatiana Snitko, deputy general director of Aviadvigatel for personnel.

By tradition, on February 12, the final day of the exhibition, Aviadvigatel awarded scholarships to the best students from the Air and Space faculty of the Perm National Research Polytechnic University. The Shvetsov scholarship went to Sergey Norin, and the Solovyev scholarship to Vadim Khayrulin. Both winners are not only top students in the faculty, they are also Aviadvigatel apprentices.
