Perm Engine Company delivers three gas turbine units to new client

Perm/10.04.2012 The Perm Engine Company under its contract with Iskra Energy has manufacturedand delivered three GTU-12PG-2 gas turbine units for a 36 mW power station. The client is the Russian-Vietnamese Joint Company RUSVIETPETRO, for whom this is the first time working with Perm suppliers of gas turbine power stations.

The Perm gas turbine power station, which will run three GTUs with a capacity of 12 mW each, is designed to serve the Central Khoreivsky Elevation oil field in the Nenets Autonomous District in the Arkhangelsk region. Thanks to the use of these gas turbine units made by the Perm Engine Company, RUSVIETPETRO will be able to solve two tasks at once  utilizing the associated petroleum gas that comes out with oil extraction, and generating electrical power for their own needs.

At present, RUSVIETPETRO, Iskra Energy, and the Perm Engine Company are conducting negotiations on the conditions of delivery in the first quarter of 2013 of a second block for a power station of the same 36 mW capacity. To achieve this goal, Perm Engine Company in 2012-2013 will be building a further three GTU-12PG-2 units for the second block. Overall, PMZs business plan for 2012 envisages making 64 new units of all types (in 2011 it made 53 units), and repairing 66 GTUs (in 2011 it repaired 58 machines).
