Perm Engine Company makes three gas turbine units for Gazprom Urengoy extraction

Perm/15.05.2012 The Perm Engine Company under its contract with Iskra-Avigaz has made three gas turbine units GTU-10P for Gazprom Urengoyextraction. All three Perm GTUs are 10 mW capacity and intended for use as actuating units in a booster compressor station (BCS) of the gas processing plant UKPG −8B at the Urengoisky oil and gas condensate field.

At present at the Gazprom Urengoyextraction BCS-2B there are four analogous gas turbine units made in Perm and one reserve engine. A further three GTU-10P are under installation and pre-operational work at the analogous BCS-5B. In accordance with the contract, in 2012 the Perm Engine Company will in the second and third quarters make and deliver to Gazprom Urengoyextraction a further eight GTU-10Ps for the booster compressor station at another one of the gas preparation sites at the field.

For the past 10 years, the Perm Engine Company has been the main supplier of industrial gas turbine units for current and future Gazprom installations. Today at compressor stations and power stations, our largest client runs 485 Perm-built gas turbine units, and this year that number will grow by a further 43 machines, exceeding 500. Our long-term cooperation is based on the high technical and operational specifications of PMZs products and the guaranteed fulfilling of all obligations by both parties.
