Vladivostok Avia best operator of the PS-90A engine

Perm/17.08.2012 Perm Engine Company and Aviadvigatel have named the best operator of the PS-90A engine, Vladivostok Avia.

The certificate, awarded at Vladivostok Avias 80th anniversary, was awarded by the commercial director of the Perm Engine Company Oleg Korolyov. The airline has previously been awarded best operator of the PS-90A in 2007 and 2010.

The best operator of the PS-90A engine is selected on a number of indicators: the intensiveness of engine operation (average monthly workload for one engine in the airline across the year), absence engine cut-outs in flight, incidents, or detaching caused by engine trouble due to the fault of the operator, the application by the airline of diagnostic equipment in accordance with the requirements for operation, and they timely application of measures as necessary based on diagnostics.

Today Vladivostok Avias fleet includes six long-haul Tu-204-300 aircraft with Perm-built PS-90A engines. Vladivostok Avia became the first Russian airlines to operate this type of aircraft, in 2005.
