Perm/18.06.2012 The Perm Engine Company team has a successful trip to the all-Russian games ‘Russian Technologies — Russian Corporate Games’, held in Moscow on June
Out of all the many different sporting disciplines, the Perm engine builders selected a few types of track and field events — the 100, 800, and 1,500 meters, long jump, shotput, and the Swedish medley (400×300×200×100). In the tense battle, Perm Engine Company employees won 5 medals. Among women, the winner of the 100 meters and the long jump was Yelena Suranova, lathe operator at ChPU. In the same disciplines for the men, Igor Veretennikov, leading specialist from the welding department, won second place. In the pitching, third place went to YuliyaTorsunova, a sports instructor with Perm Engines primary trade union.

The Russian Technologies — Russian Corporate Games competition is the largest event in Russian corporate sports competitions. It is organized and held by the state corporation Russian Technologies. The games are supported by the Russian Olympics Committee, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Russian Chamber of Commerce, and A. T. Sikharulidze, chairman of the State Duma committee for fitness and sports.
