Equipment developed by the Perm design firm Is the part of the system at the Yamal gas fields

On October 23, 2012 Gazprom started commercial operations at the Bovanenkovskoye Oil and Gas Condensate Field (BOGF) ó the first thread of a gas pipeline and four of the six gas turbine units in the first chain of the main compressor station Baydaratskaya, belonging to Gazprom Transgaz Ukhta.

The gas is delivered into the gas transportation system of the Bovanenkovo-Ykhta-Gryazovets-Vyborg line, and then along the seabed of the Baltic Sea to Europe.

The Bovanenkovskoye BOGF is the largest field in Yamal and the adjacent shelf and one of the largest in the world. The Bovanenkovskoye BOGF is the first and most important field in Gazpromís center for gas extraction in Yamal. Aviadvigatel has a close and direct relationship with this field:

  • Ensuring the working capacity of Burgazís drilling units, which are doing the exploratory drilling work, equipped with six Ural-6000 GTUs
  • Providing electricity to Bovanenkoskovsky Gazprom extraction Nadym does with five Ural-2500 GTUs (another five power plants have been delivered to the client for the second phase of construction).

Altogether, Aviadvigatel has developed and prepared 20 Ural-series gas turbine power stations for the Yamal peninsula.

Gas transportation will be managed using six GTU-16P gas turbine units at the Baydaratskaya compressor station and 20 GTU-25P gas turbine units at the Yarynskaya, Usinskaya, Gagaratskaya, and Novo-Yubileynaya compressor stations (Gazprom Transgaz Ukhta).
