About 1,000 companies from 40 countries took part in OIL and GAS 2013. The exhibition offers a unique opportunity for leaders in the domestic and global oil and gas industry to present their new developments and technologies to a wide audience of specialists, to establish direct business contacts, and to solve business development issues.
As part of the general exhibition, the company presented the GPA-16 Arlan, RGPEU-2.0 and GPA-Ts-25 engines made by Saturn Gas Turbines. Visitors also got to see Neva-25NK gas transportation unit (1:50 scale model) and an NK-36 gas turbine engine (1:7 scale model) made by Kuznetsov.
Thelatest development in UEC’s general exhibition was the E70/8RD gas turbine engine developed and made by NPO Saturn. The full-size model of the E70/8RD engine was on display in a special darkened space within the exhibition stand, using modern interactive technology, in particular 3D video-mapping multimedia technology.
The unique GTD E70/8RD civil dual-fuel engine for marine use with automatic switching from liquid (diesel) fuel to gas without loss of capacity is intended for power stations at oil and gas installations connected with the coastline and shelf zones, with possible application on drilling platforms, freight terminals, LPG factories and floating power stations. In addition, the universal GTD E70/8RD can be used as the main power units on ships (LNG vessels, high-speed passenger and freight ferries, ice-breakers, and others).
