UEC takes part in the Caspian Oil & Gas 2013 exhibition

June 07, 2013 Saturn Gas Turbines took part in the Caspian Oil & Gas 2013 international exhibition, held in Baku on June 4-7. This year’s exhibition included 386 companies from 28 different countries who are engaged in operating and developing oil and gas fields, as well as providing services. Among them were SOCAR, BP, Statoil, Total, Saipem, RusNeft, Caspian Drilling Company, TPAO, Halliburton, ABEMDA, OMV, and others.

The exhibition’s high status was confirmed by the participation in the opening ceremony of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilkham Aliev, who this year sent a letter of greetings to exhibitors and guests. Support for the Caspian Oil and Gas project comes from the Azerbaijan Ministry of Industry and Power and the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan.

The particular topic of the exhibition was the implementation of the TANAT project — an element of the Southern gas pipeline, designed to deliver “blue fuel” from the Caspian region to Central Europe.

Saturn Gas Turbines was represented at the UEC stand. The company presented a presentation of Saturn Gas Turbines’ abilities in implementing gas turbine and gas piston equipment, and in building turn-key power facilities.

Saturn Gas Turbines’ participation in Caspian Oil & Gas is strategic, since this event is a promising platform to promote the company’s products.
