This is the second flight test of the launcher developed by the Orbital Sciences Corporation, created to deliver commercial freight to the International Space Station. The first Antares launch was successfully held on April 22, 2013.
The first stage of the Antares includes NK-33/AJ26 engines, modified by the American company Aerojet jointly with specialists from the Samara company Kuznetsov.
The upcoming experimental flight will be developing delivery of real cargo to the ISS.
