Perm Engine Company: annual plan in 8 months

The Perm Engine Company has fulfilled its planned efficiency work in eight months. Since the beginning of the year, savings from the implemented efficiency proposals have amounted to 90.5 million rubles, while planned savings for the entire year of 2013 were 90 million rubles.

The best rationalisers were A. A. Udaltsov, leading engineer in the customer support division  the savings from implementing his proposals amounted to 20 million rubles, V. V. Filippov, leading specialist in the production department  15 million rubles, A. N. Veretennikov, head of the new technology department  9 million rubles, A. Yu. Navarnov, head of the customer support department  4.9 million rubles, I. V. Poletaev, leading specialist in the procurement department  3.3 million rubles, and V. I. Ozhgibesov, machinist on the experimental technology line  0.939 million rubles. The total savings from implementing their suggestions in production exceeded 53 million rubles.

The suggestions from customer support department specialists A. A. Udaltsov and A. Yu. Navarnov allowed the efficiency of the nodes and units in aviation engines in operation to be expanded without the need for repair at the factory, thereby significantly cutting expenses. The airlines using these engines will also see real benefits, in terms of cutting downtime.

One of the suggestions from Viktor Filippov was aimed at using cheaper materials in the bodies of compressors for gas turbine units GTU-10P, GTU-12P and GTU-16P.

In just eight months the factorys specialists and workers put forth 238 proposals and implemented 362 earlier proposals. For comparison, during the whole year 2012 there were just 141 suggestions and 63 implementations, which resulted in savings of 95.7 million rubles.

Perm Engine Company mass produces aviation engines for civil and military aviation, as well as industrial gas turbine units for power stations and gas transportation.
