During its seven years on the market, Saturn Gas Turbines has increased production volumes ten-fold

8.11.2013 Saturn Gas Turbines (part of United Engine Corporation) has celebrated its birthday. Seven years ago the company entered the market for power generation and gas transportation units as an independent company.

On the eve of the anniversary the managing director of the company Igor Yudin said that in seven years, Saturn Gas Turbines’s production volumes had grown ten-fold. In this period the Rybinsk company grew from a new market entrant to a leader on the domestic power-generation construction market. To date the company has built 216 units with a total capacity of 2,366 mW. The total combined operation hours in 2013 exceeded 2 million. Saturn Gas Turbines is in the closing stage of certification of all business processes at the company up to international standards. It has received a certificate of compliance with EFQM and undergone the first stage of certification under the American Petroleum Institute standard. The company’s main success has been its highly-qualified personnel. On the company’s anniversary, 50 employees were installed on its Wall of Honor, and 15 specialists received the noteworthy assignation ‘Veteran of Labor’.
